Where to eat in Melbourne CBD

Where to eat in Melbourne CBD

I recently was lucky enough to spend a week in the beautiful city of Melbourne. As I was traveling solo I was determined to try out Melbourne’s incredible foodie scene without the usual toddler interruptions. As I was staying at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne I decided to concentrate on the best restaurants in Melbourne CBD. Here are my top picks:Ezard Melbourne Review

Want to know what modern Australian dining loooks like? Then ezard is the place for you.

Their Asian fusion fish starters are delicious but without doubt my favourite thing on their menu was the steak! We all know Australians like their meat and there there is no better place than ezard to test this out!

Their deserts were pretty amazing too! Light but scrumptious and the perfect end to a lovely evening!

Chin chin Melbourne review

Recently named by Conde naste as one of the best restaurants in Melbourne and I have to concur! This place definitely lives up to the hype around it!

The tapas style Asian fusion menu is a delight. It’s walk in only so be prepared to wait for a table – but don’t worry it’s totally worth it.

Om nom Desserts review

I saw the name when I was looking on the map and couldn’t help but look it up. It turns out that om nom is the premier dessert restaurant in Melbourne. So one night I made sure I saved room and headed to om nom for dessert. I ordered an absolutely divine apple pudding but my favourite dessert was the chocolate cigars. I loved the theatre of the presentation – they came out in a cigar box which smoked when opened! Sorry no pic as I wasn’t expecting it!

I also loved the chocolate ash it was served on in an ashtray!
