If you have been following along my social media accounts you will know that our summer plans changed unexpectedly! We are going to be spending an unexpected U.K summer and are actually really looking forward to our unexpected U.K. Summer travel: here’s why:
The weather
I must admit I am super excited to be able to take the bambino out during daylight hours. No more enforced 6am trips to the swings. When we left it was 47 degrees so coming back to the U.K. *heatwave* is a pleasant relief.

Enjoying normal weather
People
Suddenly I’m getting to spend time with people that I didn’t think I would get to see this summer. My parents think they have won the lottery having me and bambino staying with them until hubbys return to the uk.
I’m also getting to go to a hen do in London that I thought I’d have to miss!
Uk travel
I must admit we didn’t do that much uk travel before we left for qatar. Living in such a small country, you suddenly realise what you had taken for granted. We have decided to spend the summer exploring our great nation embracing national trust properties, staycations and museums to name but a few. We already have dates in the diary for the Peak District, angelesey, Yorkshire and London!
Where else should we be exploring this summer?

If I was in a 47 degrees heat, I would gladly escape to another country even though it's summer over there because it would be "cooler" than 47 deg anyway, lol!
