Today being Friday we embraced the glorious expat tradition that is Friday brunch. After being recommended by a colleague we decided to head to the Sheraton for an Italian themed brunch at La Veranda!
So how was it? View Post
All week I had been looking forward to a weekend staycation at the four seasons. Then one look at this weeks weather made me change my mind … rain and thunderstorms. Not exactly perfect weather for a beach break. So postponing our break until the following week we were at a loss at what to do with our rainy Doha weekend. I looked in our entertainer app for inspiration when I saw for this month only there was a 2 for 1 brunch offer at hwang – problem solved! View Post
Friday brunch is a staple activity of expats in the Middle East. Whenever we have visitors we always take them so when my parents visited to meet Baby E we decided to take them to one of our favourites, Vine at the St. Regis. We love the range of foods, the live cooking stations and variety of drinks both Non and Alcoholic. The sushi and seafood area for us is the best at any Doha brunch and I love getting a taste of home with their roast dinners. But is brunch a good activity to do with a baby?
