What personal data we collect and why we collect it
This site only contacts people who specifically request that I do so or in the event that they have signed up to receive my free email communications, or subscribed to the blog via email through WordPress/Jetpack to notify them when a new post is published, or joined in with my linky by adding a link to a post on their site.
The information that you give to me directly on the site (e.g. within comments on blog posts such as your name and email address) is never shared or added to any mailing lists. You may request to have your details removed from my website, for example those left in comments, or stored within the third party service I use for the linky (inLinkz.com) at any time by emailing me at email@example.com
To ensure the security and safety of this site, I may create regular backups of all information on this site, which are held on my own machine or within the database of the server of my site. Each backup file will be deleted in full when the next one is created.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
