The news we have all been waiting for is finally out. Disney’s World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris is officially set to open on March 29th 2026. In this guide we round up everything you need to know for visiting this new section of the park, attractions, restaurants, booking tips and much much more!
Note: news is coming out quickly and we expect to get more information as we near the opening date. We will try and keep this post as up to date as we can as new news is revealed!
Booking World of Frozen

Everything we know about World of Frozen
The first day for the new area is March 29th 2026. Coincidentally, this is also the date that the Walt Disney Studios will change its name to Disney Adventure World.
Hotel and ticket packages for this period have been on sale for a while. But if you are looking for tickets only they have gone on sale today (Tuesday 25th November). If you are looking for tickets only we usually get them via Attraction Tickets. We always appreciate when people use our affiliate links to book, but it comes at no extra cost to you! I recommend booking your tickets well in advance especially if you are travelling close to opening as I expect these will sell out.

It is also worth noting that Disney Annual Pass holders will have a special preview event but as yet details have not been revealed. Once we have the we will reveal here.
So if you are going to the park for opening or just after what can you expect?
New Rides
This new area features two new rides:
- Frozen Ever After – a boat ride with music and animatronics similar to the ride at Epcot and at Hong Kong Disney,
- Rapoince Tangled Spin – a teacups style ride similar to the teacups ride in the main park.
Character Meets
Possibly the piece of information people are most excited about is the fact that we now get an Anna and Elsa meet and Greet. This is called Royal Encounter and will be operated via a virtual queue – so definitely go in with patience and prepare for disappointment based on recent experience with virtual queues.
From the images, it looks like they will meet as Queen Anna and Spirit Elsa.
There will also be some wandering characters around, such as Kristoff, Oaken and Mossie the Troll.
But what I am most excited about is the new Olaf Animatronic with detachable nose and arms. If you haven’t seen it yet, head to the Disney Instagram channels to find out more – heads up, it’s AMAZING.
New Shows

frozen show
Celebration in Arendelle is the new show. It will play 4 times a day on Arendelle Bay and includes royal appearances. The show looks set to feature 3 boats, including the Arendelle sisters, Kristoff, and Olaf.
There will also be a new nighttime show Cascade of Lights over the lake (similar to the one at Disney California Adventure, as shown in the photos). It will feature almost 400 drones, and sequences from Mulan, Moana, Marvel and Pixar faves.
New Restaurants

World of Frozen Restaurants
Two new restaurants have been announced for this area. One is a quick service restaurant and the other a character dining table service experience.
Nordic Crowns Taven
It can be found in the Arendelle Village section. This will be a quick-service restaurant serving Norwegian and Scandinavian-style dishes. They have also announced that dishes will be customisable so will be interesting to see how this works especially in the early days.
Regal View Restaurant and Lounge
This will be in Adventure Way near Adventure Bay. It is similar to Auberge, as it features princesses and table-service menus. From press releases so far, the princesses you can likely meet here are Belle, Aurora, Ariel, Jasmine, and Merida too. As of yet, we don’t know what the effect of this new princess dining will have on what characters are available at Auberge. We also haven’t seen a full menu yet. Once we have both these details, we will update here!
You should also be able to watch the Cascade of Lights show from here but again we are awaiting more info.
Bookings for this restaurant are now open for on-site guests.
Shopping
There are two new boutiques
– the Arendelle boutique featuring Frozen merchandise and Scandinavian crafts.
– Fjord View
Move over shoulder buddies I have a feeling Runa is about to become the new disney must have merch item. She is an interactive baby troll that reacts to others. If you get one, there will apparently be an adoption ceremony.
What we don’t know
Although we have a lot of new information there is still a lot we dont know including:
- how they will manage crowd control on the opening day and subsequent busy periods
- menus for the restuarants
- annual pass preview events
- how the opening will affect other princess dining and current frozen singalong show longterm.
Are you planning to head to World of Frozen? What are you most looking forward to?
