How to Get the train from Orly to Disneyland Paris

How to get to Disneyland Paris from Paris

Train is often the first transfer option we are asked about on our Disneyland Paris Facebook group. I think because people worry about Paris traffic and budget however for Orly it is not my preferred transfer option. I am usually traveling to Disneyland Paris with my toddler and I just find the connections and time hard work after a flight.

However if you are on a budget you may want to consider this option as it is the cheapest transfer option.

To get the train from Orly you have to take the train into Paris, and change lines to get to the parks.

First you have to take the Orlyval which will connect the airport terminals to Antony RER station. From Antony you need to take the RER B line towards Charles de Gaulle and change trains at Chatelet Les Halles.

When you disembark the train at Chatelet Les Halles you need to follow signs for RER Line A towards Boissy St Leger / Marne la Vallee. The great thing is once you get to Chatelet the line usually has the Mickey Mouse ears next to the name which makes transferring between lines even easier.

Depending on how well your train connections work out this option can take up to 2 hours to make the transfer and usually costs around 16 Euros per person.

Magic Shuttle to Disneyland Paris

How to Get from Charles De Gaulle airport to Disneyland Paris / Disneyland Paris airport shuttle

As with Charles de Gaulle, Orly is served by the Magic Shuttle which will take you directly from the airport to the park with multiple stops near the park entrance and for the on-site Disneyland Paris hotels and some select other partner hotels.

This can be convenient if you have lots of luggage and area staying on site as you won’t have to walk through Disney Village with your bags.

If the traffic goes in your favour this option can have you at the parks from the airport in around 60 minutes. However, the area around Orly is known for its bad traffic which can make transfers take as long as 90 minutes on a bad day.

Please note: the Magic Shuttle does not run 24 hours a day. Usual hours of operation are: 9 am – 7.45 pm so if you have a flight time outside of this you will need to look at other transfer options.

Usually the cost each way is around 20 Euro for adults and 10 Euros for children. It is recommended to book your tickets in advance
