Can you see the Eiffel Tower from Disneyland Paris?

The good news is that yes you can see the Eiffel Tower from Disneyland Paris. However I would say this comes with some caveats as you do need the right conditions to see it.

In order to see the Eiffel Tower from Disneyland Paris you will need a clear day. The Disneyland Paris parks like around 36km as the bird flies from the parks to the Eiffel Tower and therefore weather conditions will play a big factor in whether or not you can see the Eiffel Tower.

You have a much greater chance of seeing the Eiffel Tower from the parks on a clear day in August at Disneyland Paris rather than a rainy day at Disneyland Paris in the middle of December.

Pollution will also play a big part in whether you not you can see the tower. If there is a lot of smog and pollution your chances of seeing the Tower are much slimmer than on a clear day. We always monitor pollution levels when we travel using the Air Visual App. You could download this and check how smoggy Paris is before you head to one of the park vistas where you may see the Tower from.

Is it a good view of the Eiffel Tower?

Is there a good view of the Eiffel Tower from Disneyland Paris

Now you know that you can indeed see the Eiffel Tower from Disneyland Paris you may be wondering is it a good view? The truth is it is not a great view of the Eiffel Tower.

The view is very distant and can be obscured by bad weather and pollution. And if you go in the evening you will notice just the lights rather than the structure itself.

Therefore although the view is not great you can at least say you have seen it (even if it is distant and not great), and as it is easy to see from the parks you might as well try as it won’t really take any time away from your Disneyland Paris itinerary.

Where can you see the Eiffel Tower from Disneyland Paris?

So now you know you have a chance of seeing the Eiffel Tower from Disneyland Paris we will explore the best places to spot it from.

I would say there are two main places at Disneyland Paris where you stand a chance of seeing the Tower. They are:

  • Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse
  • PanoraMagique

Seeing the Eiffel Tower from the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse

The Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse known in French as La Cabane des Robinson is a walkthrough attraction in adventureland.

We love this attraction as it is one of the best things to do at Disneyland Paris for all types of travellers. If you are traveling to Disneyland Paris pregnant or visiting Disneyland Paris with toddlers you can do this attraction. And as an added bonus you can see the Eiffel Tower from here.

To see the Eiffel Tower from the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse you need to head to the very top. At the top there is the Crow’s Nest. Standing next to this is the best place to see the Tower from. There is a label which reads:

The Crow’s Nest

Fritz – Ernst – Francis

their room. Completed on the first anniversary of deliverance July 17 1806.

You should keep this label to your right. From there you will need to peer through the branches and leaves and you should very distantly be able to see the Eiffel Tower providing you have the right conditions.

You could also try and spot the Eiffel Tower at night from here especially if you can coincide at the time of one of the famous Eiffel Tower light shows. You won’t be able to see this in great detail but you might be able to make out the lights in the distance.

How to see the Eiffel Tower from PanoraMagique

PanoraMagique is an attraction not in Disneyland Paris itself but in the Disney village. This makes it perfect for doing on your arrival or departure day if you don’t have tickets for the parks.

The PanoraMagique is in the Disney village and costs about 15 Euros to go up. The Panoramic Balloon is a great way to see the Disney parks and surrounding areas from the sky. You might also if you are lucky get a chance to spot the Eiffel Tower while up in the air.

Now I personally have never done the PanoraMagique Ballon as the weather has never been good enough for the balloon to fly. This attraction is only operational during good weather. We have tried several times to get on this both when we visited Disneyland Paris in July and when we visited Disneyland Paris in November and have yet to be able to ride this as on both occasions it was too windy to ride.

We will try again on our next visit and I will update this post with instructions on how to see the Eiffel Tower from the balloon with information on which direction to face etc.

Disneyland Tips for Seeing the Eiffel Tower?

  • Know what the weather is before trying to view. If it is cloudy or rainy you are not going to be able to see the Eiffel Tower.
  • Also the weather is important for the Panoramagique as if it is windy or stormy the attraction will not be operation.
  • Check the pollution before trying to see as high pollution will distort the view, reduce visibility and make it almost impossible to see the Eiffel Tower from Disneyland Paris
