Is Disneyland Paris Open in November?
So first things first – is Disneyland Paris open in November? Yes it absolutely is. Disneyland Paris is open every day of the year. So the next thing we need to ask is …
Is it worth going to Disneyland Paris in November? Is November a good month to visit Disneyland Paris?
If you are wondering if November is a good time to visit Disneyland Paris let me tell you, November is not only a good month to visit Disneyland Paris, it is in fact my opinion that November is one of the best months to Disneyland Paris.
Why? Well November isn’t considered peak season at Disneyland Paris and therefore doesn’t have the largest crowds..
However there is one downside to visiting in November as opposed to say visiting Disneyland Paris in August and that is the fact the park is operating at it’s reduced winter hours.
The usual opening hours in November at Disneyland Paris are:
- Weekdays Disneyland Park 10.00 till 19.00, Walt Disney Studios Park 10.00 till 18.00
- Weekend Disneyland Park 10.00 till 22.00, Walt Disney Studios Park 10.00 till 20.00
With Early Magic Hours being around 8:30 – 9:30
Please note these are subject to change and haven’t been released for 2022 yet so be sure to keep checking back.
Is Disneyland Paris crowded in November?
Disneyland Paris is always crowded to an extent – it is Disney after all. However of all the months November is one of the quieter months at the park, especially if you travel in that sweet spot between the Halloween season ending and the Christmas season starting.
But there are days when Disneyland Paris is more crowded than others in November. Some of the dates you may want to avoid if you are traveling to Disneyland Paris in November if you can are:
- 1st November – All Saints’ Day or La Toussaint in French.
- 11th November – Armistice Day or Jour d’armistice in French
These are public holidays in France and whenever there is a public holiday in France the crowds surge. However other than these days there are no other public or school holidays in France that you need to be aware of that will cause the parks to be crowded. In my opinion this make November a perfect time to visit Disneyland Paris with toddlers when you aren’t constrained to School holidays.
However as I mentioned above, there is a sweet spot in November for crowds which is between the Halloween decorations going down and the Christmas ones going up.
In 2022 the Halloween season at Disneyland Paris runs to 6th November 2022. So if you want to see the Halloween season in November be sure you come before then. However if you want smaller crowds be sure to come after that date.
The gap between Christmas and Halloween isn’t huge however and in 2022 the Christmas Season, called Disney’s Enchanted Christmas this year runs from 12th November -6th January 2023.

What to Wear to Disneyland Paris In November
If you are wondering what to wear to Disneyland Paris in November the biggest tip I can give you is layers, layers and more layers. Waiting around to fireworks and illuminations and even just for rides during the day with a long outside queue mean you can get cold. Be sure you have lots of layers with you to protect you from the cold.
On top of that you may want to have some waterproof clothes or at least some water resistant shoes with you as you may experience rain at Disneyland Paris.
And for children who want to wear costumes at Disneyland Paris in November I recommend picking a costume that has longer sleeves such as Elsa’s travel outfit as it is one of the easier princess costumes to layer.

Visiting Disneyland Paris in November Tips
Best places to stay at Disneyland Paris in November?
- you are walking distance to the parks which is convenient if you need a break or a change of clothes
- you get early magic hours. This is especially important when the park is operating at its reduced winter hours.
Also if you want something to do other than the parks then some of the hotels (i.e. Newport Bay and Sequoia Lodge to name a couple) have pools that you can walk back to and are heated so can be sued in the Winter.

Best things to do at Disneyland Paris in November
Now we know why you should visit Disneyland Paris in November and how to prepare for it – what should you do in November in the parks?
Indulge in Everything Halloween
Halloween doesn’t end on October 31st in Disneyland Paris. It extends into November (6th November in 2022). Therefore if you are visiting Disneyland Paris in early November be sure to catch the characters in special costumes and some unusual meet and greets such as Jack Skellington and the villains.
There is also a Halloween parade that you won’t want to miss as well as some Halloween seasonal treats.
Enjoy the rides with smaller queues
One of my favourite things about November is the smaller crowds particular between Halloween ending and Christmas starting in the parks. Use this time to enjoy the rides with smaller crowds than usual.
Get in the Christmas Spirit
Christmas starts early in Disneyland Paris. In 2022 the Christmas season starts on 12th November. So be sure to get into the Christmas spirit by indulging in some Christmas foods (I love waffles and the hot chocolate that will warm you up on a really cold day in November), see the shows and the choirs, and enjoy the beautiful decorations.
Do Character Dining
On top of the seasonal treats it is worth trying to get in to one of the character dining experiences such as the Princess Breakfast at Auberge. It can be hard to persuade little ones to come away from rides but when it is cold it is nice to retreat into character dining to warm up during the day.
Meet Characters in seasonal dress
For Halloween and Christmas you will find many characters around the parks in seasonal dress. If you love meeting characters you will definitely want to meet them in their seasonal attire.
And this is a great opportunity for you to Disneybound for Christmas or Halloween i.e. Cruella Disneybound for Halloween or Jack Skellington.
Watch a parade, especially a seasonal one
We love the parades at Disney at any time of year but my favourite parade is always Christmas. I love that Mickey is joined by the big man Santa himself on this parade.
Top Tip: be sure to stand on Main Street for at least one parade as you may get a snowy surprise.
Meet Santa
Meet and Greets at Disney are fabulous at anytime but in November Disneyland Paris gets an extra special guest in Santa himself. Be sure not to miss it.

Hello,
Yes Early Magic Hours are only for on-site guests. We do recommend getting their early though before the scheduled opening (the app should have the times of operation for your date of travel).
